Ordering Information

Payments:

    1) All prices are in Canadian dollars for residents of Canada.
         All prices are in US dollars for residents of the USA.
         Residents of the USA must pay in US dollars to compensate
         for the increased cost of shipping.

2) Forms of payment that we accept are as follows:

    Money Orders: Money orders must be made out to Berton Seeds
    Company and must be sent to the address below. Please be sure to
    include a copy of the customer receipt that you receive by email
    with your payment.

    Personal Cheques: Personal cheques must be made out to
    Berton Seeds Company and cannot be post dated.
    Send all cheques to the address in the Money Order section
    listed above.
    Please be sure to include a copy of the customer receipt that you
    receive by email with your payment.
COD: COD's are only available to residents of Canada. If you wish
to use COD as your form of payment please contact us.

Taxes:

    1) Ontario residents are subject to GST and PST on all orders.
    The manner in which these taxes are applied depends on your method
    of payment and will be as follows.

    Money Order/Personal Cheque: If you are paying by these methods
    you, the customer, must add 5% GST and 8% PST to the total
    calculated in the shopping cart and send that amount as payment.
    Please see the following example.

                        Subtotal:     $10.00
                        Shipping:    $ 5.00
                        Total:          $15.00    (this amount is calculated for you)
        GST: $15.00 x 0.05 = $ 0.75    (you calculate this amount)
        PST: $15.00 x 0.08 = $ 1.20    (you calculate this amount)
        Grand Total:               $16.95     (this is the amount payable)

    2) Canadian residents are subject to GST on all orders.

    3) Customers residing outside of Canada are not subject to any
    Canadian sales tax. The amount calculated in the shopping cart is the
    actual amount that you must send to us.

Shipping:

1) The cost of shipping is automatically calculated during checkout.

2) All orders will be processed within 5 business days. Orders will be
shipped when money orders are received or when cheques have cleared.

3) All orders will be shipped via Canada Post unless otherwise
specified.

4) Berton Seeds Company is not responsible for lost or damaged
goods.

5) Shipping is calculated according to the following table:
