        Cucumber/Cetriolo

        Cucumbers grow best in rich, warm, sandy loam.  
        Cucumbers can generally be sown indoors in March or
        April and then transplanted outdoors, or directly seeded
        after the last frost and into mid June.

        Zucchini

        Zucchini can generally be sown indoors between mid
        April and the beginning of May.
        They can also be sown directly outdoors in late May or
        early June.  Seeds will not germinate in cold wet soil.
        Soil temperatures of approximately 70°F are preferable.
